Wellington Cricket Club is committed to promoting cricket within the local community and enhancing the matchday experience for players, members, and supporters. As part of this, selected matches are recorded and live streamed.
Where footage is shown
Live video coverage of matches is broadcast via the Wellington Cricket Club YouTube channel. Recorded footage may also remain available on this platform after the match has concluded.
From time to time, clips or highlights may also be shared via the club’s official social media channels, including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, and X (formerly Twitter).
Filming at the ground
By attending Wellington Cricket Club fixtures and events, all players, officials, members, and spectators should be aware that filming and live streaming may be taking place.
Cameras are typically positioned to capture the field of play; however, footage may also include surrounding areas such as the boundary and spectator spaces.

Attendance at the ground constitutes acknowledgement that individuals may appear in live or recorded video content.
If any individual has concerns regarding being filmed, they are encouraged to speak to a club official on the day where reasonable steps will be considered.

Wellington Cricket Club takes safeguarding seriously, particularly in relation to junior players. Live streaming will be conducted in line with relevant league guidance and safeguarding policies.
