Wellington won the toss and decided to bowl first, sticking Wembdon into bat. Wellington managed to restrict Wembdon to 99/4 with Nathan Yarde opening the bowling taking 1 wicket, for just 7 runs off his 3 overs. Alex Derbidge also bowled tidily with figures of 3 overs, 1 wicket, for 18 runs.

Wellington got off to a steady start being 25-1, then Wembdon managed to get Wellington to 47-5, getting two wickets in two balls, leaving Ian Hewson last man standing needing 53 runs to win.
